City centre and the west
Sheffield city centre has The Social Dog Daycare, based at Kelham Island; Hillsborough & Loxley has Lea Farm Kennels, out past Low Bradfield; and Ecclesall, Nether Edge & Woodseats has Paws to Play on Little London Road.
East and north
Attercliffe & Meadowhall has dogs inc., open early on weekdays for commuter drop-offs. Chapeltown, Ecclesfield & Shiregreen has two: Dotties Doggy Daycare and the home boarder Hotel for Pets. Handsworth & Richmond also has two: the home boarder Life On Paws Dog Sitting and the farm-based Meadowbank Farm Dog Day and Boarding, which offers both day care and overnight stays from the same site.
South, Dronfield and Mosborough
Dronfield has the most of any area, three: Border View Farm Kennels, and two home boarders, Jo's Wonder Paws and Tails 'n' Trails Dronfield. All three are licensed, if at all, by North East Derbyshire District Council rather than Sheffield City Council — see our council licences guide for what that means. Mosborough and Beighton has Mosborough Kennels & Cattery, trading for over 40 years.

Seven of the eight areas above sit inside Sheffield City Council's boundary; only Dronfield falls under North East Derbyshire District Council instead, which matters if you plan to check a licence yourself rather than just asking the business to show you its certificate.
