This site is static. It sets no cookies of its own and runs no advertising trackers. Page views are counted with cookieless analytics that record the page, the referrer and the country, and nothing that identifies you.

On a business page we also count the view itself and any tap on the Call, Website or Directions button, kept as a daily total per listing so we can tell that business how much interest its page drew, with no IP address, cookie, device fingerprint or anything else about you stored alongside it.

A business page with a fixed address shows a small map picture loaded from Mapbox when you scroll to it. That request passes your IP address to Mapbox, who serve the picture; it sets no cookie, and we send them nothing else about you. Mapbox's privacy policy is at mapbox.com/legal/privacy.

Businesses listed here are described from public sources. For a sole trader that can be personal data, processed under legitimate interests: running an accurate local directory. We aim to email each business after listing it. Any business can be corrected or removed by emailing us; removals are done within seven days.

Where writing to every business individually before listing it would take a disproportionate amount of our time relative to the low impact on the business, given that the details published are ones the business has already chosen to make public to attract customers, we rely on the exception in Article 14(5)(b) UK GDPR instead of a personal email to every business, and publish this notice as required by that exception. We still aim to email each business as a courtesy where we can. Whether or not you have heard from us directly, you can object to being listed, ask what we hold about you, or ask for your listing to be corrected or removed at any time by emailing the address on this site; removals are done within seven days.

If you email us about a listing, we keep the email for as long as the listing is live. Businesses on a paid tier are billed by Stripe, which handles card details under its own privacy policy. We never see your card number.
