Three businesses publish a price for at least one of the two: Celine's Canines charges £30 for a day of doggy day care and £40 for 24 hours of home boarding; The Dog Nook at Cranbrook charges from £16.50 for a half day up to £44 for a full 24-hour stay; and Walk-Ease charges £36 on a weekday or £41 at a weekend for 24 hours of home boarding. Choosing between the two
A dog that is anxious when left alone for a full day, or a puppy still building up its time away from home, may suit day care better than an overnight stay to begin with. An older or more settled dog, or one whose owner is travelling, is more likely to need overnight boarding. Since every business here is a home boarder rather than a kennels, both options put your dog into someone's home rather than a purpose-built building either way, so the questions worth asking are much the same for both: how many other dogs will be there, and how the day or the stay is structured.
