What can be confirmed, area by area
How much can be checked about a business varies by area as much as by business. Mold & Buckley and Flint & Holywell sit under Flintshire County Council, whose live online register confirmed three of the four businesses there directly. Chester city centre, Hoole & Boughton, Handbridge & Lache and the Cheshire side of Neston & Heswall all sit under Cheshire West and Chester Council, whose own register could not be read for this research, so every business in those four areas rests on its own published licence claim rather than a confirmed register entry.
