Digs for Dogs (Wigan) is the local franchise of the national Digs for Dogs home-boarding network, run by franchisee Lisa Rose, who covers Wigan, Hindley, Hindley Green, Platt Bridge, Ince-in-Makerfield, Whelley, Swinley, Newtown and Goose Green. Published prices are £34 a night for one dog and £65 for two, plus a one-off registration fee and £20 each way for transport. Collection and drop-off run Monday to Friday, 9am to 4pm, and Saturday mornings. Wigan Council licenses the business for home boarding, with a 3-star rating and a licence running to July 2027.
