Dog boarding and day care prices in Swindon

Prices are as the businesses published them when we last checked (September 2026). They can change without notice, so confirm them when you book.

Twenty-nine dog boarders, day cares and kennels are listed for Swindon, and only four of them publish a price on their own site: Pooch'n'Pals in Haydon Wick, Betts Pets near Purton in West Swindon, Flaxlands Kennels & Cattery near Royal Wootton Bassett, and Red Lodge Canine Country Club in Royal Wootton Bassett. The rest quote once they know your dog's size, temperament and dates, so the figures below are a floor for what boarding and day care cost locally, not a full price list for the town.

Day care

Four businesses publish a day-care price and no two structure it quite the same way. Pooch'n'Pals charges £22 for an ordinary day and £30 for a weekend day, or £32 if the day runs into an overnight stay. Betts Pets charges £37.50 for a weekday, with a £40 trial day for a new dog before a first full booking. Flaxlands Kennels & Cattery charges £45 for day care, plus a £7.50-a-day 'gold' upgrade for longer walks and supervised off-lead play. Red Lodge Canine Country Club is the only one to publish a membership discount: £60 for a one-off day, dropping to an average of £36 a day for a dog that attends five days a week, alongside a separate £50-a-day puppy school.

Overnight and home boarding

Only two businesses publish an overnight figure. Betts Pets charges £45 per dog per night for home boarding, with an £80 trial weekend for a new dog before a longer stay. Red Lodge Canine Country Club charges £55 a night for one dog in its boarding kennels, rising to £82.50 on a bank holiday. None of Swindon's other eighteen home boarders or seven remaining boarding kennels publish an overnight price, so ask directly and have your dog's size and your dates ready when you call.

Everyone else

The other twenty-five dog boarders, day cares and kennels listed for Swindon, including eighteen of the town's twenty home boarders and seven of its nine fixed-site kennels and day cares, do not publish a price at all. This is normal for this niche, and especially normal for home boarding, where a price usually depends on the length of stay, the number of dogs from the same household, and how far the boarder needs to travel for drop-off or collection. None of the prices above include extras that often apply elsewhere: bank holidays, collection and a second dog from a different household are commonly charged on top, so confirm the final total before booking. See our choosing guide for how to tell home boarding, day care and kennels apart, and what to ask before you book.
