Two home boarders publish an overnight figure, and both charge per 24 hours rather than per night: We Love Pets Portsmouth & Southsea charges £48 and Homes and Hounds charges £40. Neither states what the price includes beyond the stay itself, so ask about feeding, medication and a second dog from the same household before comparing the two.
Day care
Nanny Sue's Doggy Day Care, in the Fratton, Baffins & North End area, publishes a day stay of up to 12 hours at £15, the only flat day-care price found in the town. All Weather Walkies, in Havant, does not price its ongoing day care but does publish a £40 trial day for a new dog, alongside a £50 trial overnight stay, both aimed at a dog's first booking rather than regular use.
Dog walking as an add-on
Three of the businesses that board or day-care dogs also publish separate walking prices: We Love Pets Portsmouth & Southsea charges £16 an hour, Homes and Hounds £14 an hour, and Barney and Sam's Pet Services £10 for 30 minutes or £15 for an hour. None of these is a boarding price, but they show what a stand-alone walk costs from businesses that also board dogs.
