Overnight and home boarding
Three businesses publish an overnight or daily boarding figure. Dixon's Dog Sitters charges £40 a night for home boarding in Peterborough; We Love Pets Peterborough starts home boarding from £40 per 24 hours; and Barking Mad Peterborough charges £33 a day for one dog, £55 a day for two dogs from the same household, and £50 a day for a puppy. Uncle Geoffrey's Vizsla Boarding, a home boarder in the Whittlesey area that only takes Hungarian Vizslas, charges £60 a night for full boarding and £85 a night when two dogs from the same house board together. None of these prices are directly comparable: ask exactly what each one includes, and how the first and last day of a stay are counted, before comparing them.
Day care
Two further businesses publish a day care price. Amblewood Kennels & Cattery, which runs boarding kennels, a cattery and day care near Peterborough, charges £35 a day. Dixon's Dog Sitters charges £30 for a full day and £20 for a half day. Uncle Geoffrey's Vizsla Boarding, above, charges £40 a day for its Vizsla-only day care.
Dog walking and other add-ons
We Love Pets Peterborough is the only business here to publish prices for services beyond boarding and day care: dog walks from £16 an hour, pet visits from £12 for twenty minutes, and house sitting from £60 per 24 hours.
