Newgate Kennels & Cattery is a family business founded in 1948 by Jess Millett and still run by the same family, now across a 16-acre site in Wilmslow. It combines dog and cat boarding with a grooming salon and an on-site pet shop, and recommends booking up to a year ahead for the peak season. It is open seven days a week, 8am to 6pm, with no new arrivals accepted after 2pm, and closed on Christmas Day and New Year's Day. Cheshire East Council licenses the business for boarding kennels and cat boarding, with a licence running to July 2029.
