Dog boarding and day care prices in Leicester

Prices are as the businesses published them when we last checked (September 2026). They can change without notice, so confirm them when you book.

Thirty dog boarders, day cares and kennels are listed for Leicester, and only three of them publish a price on their own site: Furry Friends Pet Care Services, Dog Nanny Leicester and Porter's Paw Patrol. The rest quote once they know your dog's size, temperament and dates, so the figures below are a floor for what boarding and day care cost locally, not a full price list for the town.

Home boarding overnight

Furry Friends Pet Care Services, a home boarder and cattery in the Glen Parva part of Leicester, charges £30 a night for one dog and £55 for two, with a 25% non-refundable booking fee. Porter's Paw Patrol, in Market Harborough, charges £38 for 24 hours of boarding from Monday to Thursday, and caps its boarding at a maximum of three dogs at a time. Neither price is directly comparable with the other: ask exactly what each includes, and how the first and last day of a stay are counted, before you compare them.

Day care

Dog Nanny Leicester, a day care and training business run from a home near Glenfield, charges £26 for a day of care, limited to small and medium breeds. Porter's Paw Patrol in Market Harborough charges £30 for a full day (8am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday). Both are single day-rate prices rather than half-day or multi-dog rates, so ask about a second dog from the same household before booking more than one place.

Dog walking and training as add-ons

All three businesses that publish a boarding or day-care price also publish a walking price. Furry Friends Pet Care Services charges £13 for a one-hour walk; Dog Nanny Leicester charges £14 for a walk, plus £35 for a dog-training session and £45 for a dog-behaviour session; Porter's Paw Patrol charges £18 for a one-hour group walk. None of these figures are boarding or day-care prices in themselves, but they show what a stand-alone walk or session costs from businesses that also board dogs.

Everyone else

The other twenty-seven dog boarders, day cares and kennels listed for Leicester, including twenty-one of the town's twenty-three home boarders and all five of its remaining boarding kennels, do not publish a price. This is normal for the niche: a home boarder in particular usually prices around the length of stay, the number of dogs from the same household, and how far it needs to travel, so have your dates and dog's details ready when you call. None of the prices above include extras that are commonly charged elsewhere in this niche: bank holidays, collection, and a second dog from a different household are often added on top, so confirm the final total before booking.
