Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft is covered here in three areas, spanning two licensing councils. This guide lists what is in each, and, unlike some towns on this site, none of the three areas has a gap.
Great Yarmouth & Gorleston
Four businesses, licensed by Great Yarmouth Borough Council: Andrews Holiday Inn for Dogs and Cats, trading since 1981 according to directory listings; Bondi Petcare, which takes bookings through an online system and shares ownership with Noosabay Kennels & Cattery in Beccles & Bungay; The Doghouse, a kennels in Great Ormesby that also runs day care and grooming and describes webcams in its kennel rooms; and PetStay Norfolk, a home boarder run by a former veterinary surgeon and covering the Belton area. Lowestoft
Five businesses, licensed by East Suffolk Council except where noted: Wiggley Walkers Lowestoft, run by a boarder with more than four years of experience and links to a local dog rescue charity; Cases and Canines, which takes only one household's dogs at a time; and We Love Pets East Coast, all home boarders holding a 4-star licence; Paws of Pakefield, DBS cleared and Canine First Aid trained, a home boarder holding a 5-star licence; and East Point Paws (Lowestoft Canine Creche), a dedicated day care reported to take up to 40 dogs a day, whose licence could not be matched to the council's register. Beccles & Bungay
Four businesses: Beccles Cosy Home Dog Boarding, run by a former dog groomer and holding a 4-star East Suffolk Council licence; Noosabay Kennels & Cattery and Pineview Farm Kennels, both kennels holding a 5-star East Suffolk Council licence, the former under the same ownership as Bondi Petcare in Great Yarmouth & Gorleston; and We Love Pets Beccles, a home-boarding franchise branch whose licence could not be matched to the council's register.
