Dog boarding and day care prices in Dudley and Stourbridge
Prices are as the businesses published them when we last checked (September 2026). They can change without notice, so confirm them when you book.
Twelve dog boarders, day care providers and boarding kennels are listed for Dudley and Stourbridge, and only two of them publish a price on their own site: Doggy Dayz and Poppy's Pad, both home boarders in Kingswinford. Everyone else quotes once they know your dog and your dates, so the figures below are what two businesses charge, not a full price list for the town.
Published prices, September 2026
| Business | Service | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Doggy Dayz, home boarding in Kingswinford | Home boarding, per night | £24 |
| Doggy Dayz | Dog walk, 30 minutes | £8 |
| Doggy Dayz | Dog walk, 60 minutes | £13 |
| Poppy's Pad, home boarding in Kingswinford | Home boarding, per day | £40 |
Home boarding
The two published figures for an overnight stay are not directly comparable: Doggy Dayz charges £24 a night and takes a maximum of two dogs alongside the owner's own dog, while Poppy's Pad charges £40 a day and only takes dogs from one household at a time, so a second dog from the same home is not charged separately. Ask exactly what each price covers, including walks and feeding, and how a stay is counted if your dog is dropped off or collected partway through a day, before comparing the two.
Dog walking as an add-on
Doggy Dayz is the only business here that publishes a separate dog-walking price alongside its boarding: £8 for a thirty-minute walk and £13 for an hour. No other business listed for Dudley and Stourbridge publishes a walking rate.
Everyone else
The remaining ten businesses do not publish a price. Among the home boarders and the home-based day care, that is Pet Comforts Hotel, Mann's Dynamic Dogs, Pauls Pet Minders, Thirlmere House Dog Boarding, Wollaston Dog Walking and Tipton Tails; the dedicated day care, Wagatails Dog Day Care, also quotes on request; and so do the three boarding kennels and catteries, Long Meadow Pet Resort, Woodfarm Boarding Kennels and Cattery, and Iverley Lodge Boarding Kennels & Cattery. Call each one directly: boarding and day-care prices generally depend on your dog's size, how many nights or days you need, and whether your dates fall over a bank holiday.
Questions to ask about price
- Does the price change for a bank holiday or a busy week such as school holidays?
- Is a second dog from the same household charged in full, at a reduced rate, or included?
- Is collection or drop-off included, or charged separately?
- How is the first and last day of a stay counted if it is only part of a day?
