4Paws Farm is a family-run boarding farm on 34 acres near Bishop Auckland, run by Kelly and Richard Grey, who bring more than 30 years' combined animal-care experience between them. Durham County Council licenses the farm separately for dog boarding, cat boarding and day care, and it also takes small animals for boarding. Kennels are described on its own site as fully insulated, with double glazing and heating. Opening hours run mornings and afternoons on weekdays, with shorter weekend windows; call to check current rates and space.
