Muddy Pups runs dog day care from a house near Blean, between Whitstable and Canterbury, with an acre garden for off-lead play. Owner Bethan Lee caps numbers at eight dogs a day, keeping the service day-care only even though the council licence also covers home boarding. Days run Monday to Thursday, 8am to 5:30pm. Day care costs £25, with a £15 charge for every 30 minutes of late collection and £30 for a vet visit if one is needed. Only vaccinated dogs are accepted, and neutered dogs once old enough. Canterbury City Council licenses the business for home boarding, with a 5-star rating; the register shows no licence number or expiry date.
