Dog boarding and day care in Bradford, area by area
Ten dog boarders, kennels and catteries are listed across Bradford's eight areas, and they are not spread evenly: the semi-rural west and north of the district, around Ilkley and Queensbury, account for eight of the ten, while several areas closer to the city centre currently have none listed at all. Bradford is a large district covering the city itself plus a ring of smaller towns and villages, so where you look for a boarder within it makes a real difference to how many options are nearby.

Ilkley & Menston: the best-served area
Five of the ten businesses listed for Bradford publish under the Ilkley & Menston area: Petstay Leeds and Ilkley Branch and Tatty's Dog Walking and Pet Care, both home boarders, plus The Rhyddings Kennels, Wharfedale Kennels and Cattery and Sunnymead Ltd, all boarding kennels or a cattery. This area covers Ilkley itself along with Menston, Addingham and Burley in Wharfedale, all under the LS29 postcode despite sitting inside the Bradford district.
Queensbury and Bingley
Queensbury, Clayton Heights & Thornton has three listed businesses: Cullingworth Pooches Playground and A Home from Home for Dogs, both home boarders, and Morton Villa Pet Hotel, a boarding kennels and cattery that also runs day care. Bingley has one, The Springs Boarding Kennels & Cattery in nearby Eldwick.
Areas with nothing listed yet
Eccleshill, Bolton & Fagley, Idle, Thackley & Apperley Bridge, Wyke & Low Moor and Shipley, Baildon & Saltaire currently have no business listed here with a confirmed phone number, and Bradford city centre & inner Bradford has only one, Padagan Boarding Kennels & Cattery. That is not the same as no licensed boarders existing there: the council's own register holds licensed home boarders in some of these areas too, but without a website, social page or phone number this directory could independently confirm, so per our own rules they are not published yet. See our council licences guide for more on how that register works and why.
If your area has nothing listed
If you live in one of the areas with no listing here, it is still worth calling a business in a neighbouring area: several, including the home boarders in Queensbury and Ilkley, mention covering a wider patch of the district than their own street, even though they are only listed under their base area on this site. Ask any business you call whether it collects, or is willing to travel, before ruling it out on distance alone.
