Home boarding or kennels in Bracknell and Crowthorne?
Overnight boarding in Bracknell and Crowthorne comes in two different shapes: a home boarder, who takes your dog into their own house, or purpose-built kennels, where dogs stay in individual runs on a dedicated site. Twelve of the fourteen listed businesses are home boarders; one runs boarding kennels. Hot Dogs Grooming and Doggy Day Care, the fourteenth, offers day care and grooming only, with no overnight stays, so it sits outside this comparison.
Home boarding
Bracknell and Crowthorne's twelve home boarders are spread across three areas. In the Bracknell area: Berkshire Canine Company, which combines boarding with grooming; 4 Paws and Pals, run by Catherine Adams since 2018 with access to a large area of private land for walks; The Little Pup Lodge, licensed for up to three dogs alongside its own resident dog; Poochies Palace, licensed for up to eight dogs; Active Paws, which combines boarding and day care with dog training; Amy's Animal Allsorts and Tails on Trails, both of which describe themselves mainly as dog walkers on their own sites but also hold a home boarding licence; and Bravo Dog Training, a training business with the same combination. Crowthorne has one, Katy's K9s, though no register entry has been matched to it under that name. Sandhurst and Yateley has three: The Dog Boss, run by Stewart since 2022, who states on its site that it carries £5 million of public liability cover; Happy Dogz and Catz, trading since 2018 and also offering a pet taxi service; and Claire's Canines, the only listing on this page licensed by Hart District Council rather than Bracknell Forest Council. As with any home boarder, only the area and town are shown on the listing; the address is given once you book.
Boarding kennels
Ryslip Group Ltd, near Binfield, is the only boarding kennels listed for Bracknell and Crowthorne. It has traded since 1955 and also takes cats, alongside a pet travel, export and quarantine service and a pet food shop on the same Church Lane site. Which suits your dog
