Dog boarding and day care prices in Bolton

Prices are as the businesses published them when we last checked (September 2026). They can change without notice, so confirm them when you book.

Thirteen dog boarders, day cares and kennels are listed for Bolton, and only three of them publish a price on their own site: The Dawg House Daycare & Boarding in Horwich, Ladyshore Grange Boarding Kennels and Cattery in Little Lever, and Pooches Play House in Atherton. The rest quote once they know your dog's size, temperament and dates, so the figures below are a floor for what boarding and day care cost locally, not a full price list for the town.

Overnight boarding

Two businesses here publish an overnight or per-night figure, and they are not directly comparable. Ladyshore Grange charges £22 a day for one dog in a kennel, rising to £37 for two dogs and £47 for three, plus £12 a day for a single cat. The Dawg House charges £47 a night for one dog boarding in its home boarder's house, or £87 a night for two dogs from the same household. A kennel price and a home boarding price are for a different kind of stay, so ask exactly what each one includes, and how the first and last day of a stay are counted, before comparing them.

Day care

Two businesses publish a day-care price. The Dawg House charges £27 for a full weekday of day care and £25 for Saturday day care. Pooches Play House, a day care in Atherton, charges £17.50 for a full day and £12.50 for up to six hours. Neither price list mentions extras such as a trial session, so ask what a first visit costs before booking a longer run of days.

Everyone else

The other ten dog boarders and day cares listed for Bolton, including four of the five home boarders and four of the five boarding kennels, do not publish a price. This is normal for this niche, and especially for home boarding: a boarder usually prices around the length of stay, the number of dogs from the same household, and how far they need to travel, so have your dates and dog's details ready when you call. None of the prices above include extras that often apply elsewhere: bank holidays, collection, or a second dog from a different household are commonly charged on top, so confirm the final total before booking.
