Day care
A full day of day care runs from £25 (Gee's Doggie Daycare and Holly Wood Hounds) down to £20 at Holidays for Dogs, with Dog World Boarding also charging £25. Holly Wood Hounds publishes a half-day rate of £15 and a full working week (Monday to Friday) at £110. Gee's Doggie Daycare's £25 day-care rate covers an 8-hour day; it also separately prices a 30-minute dog-sitting visit at £10 and an hour of dog training at £35.
Overnight boarding
The four published overnight figures are not directly comparable, since they cover different kinds of stay. Lindsey's Doggy Daycare and Holly Wood Hounds, both home boarders, charge £40 and £35 respectively for overnight boarding in the boarder's own house. Holidays for Dogs, also a home boarder, charges £25. Dog World Boarding, a premises-based business in Lytham St Annes, separates a 24-hour boarding rate (£35) from a shorter 'overnight stay' (£15) — ask exactly what hours each covers before comparing it with a home boarder's day rate.
Barking Mad's agency pricing
